What Should I Do When I Receive the iPad?
Double check that the iPad is connected to the internet. All DOE iPads come with internet access already enabled. It is activated on T-Mobile’s Education plan. You will be able to visit websites and do classwork immediately. If, however, the iPad is not connecting to the internet, do the following:

Go to the Settings app.

Select Cellular.

Turn on Cellular Data.

Tap Cellular Data Options.

Verify that LTE and data roaming are turned on.
If you still have trouble connecting to the internet, you should call AppleCare Support for the NYCDOE at 1-800-919-2775. When prompted, enter the PIN: 692363 (NYCDOE). Note: you should ONLY call this number to ask about setting up the iPad or accessing learning applications. You can also fill out this form to ask questions or receive help with your iPad.
