Virtual Enterprise Business Program | K24B

Virtual Enterprise (VE) is a program where students run their own pretend businesses, just like real ones. With help from teachers and business mentors, students create and manage their companies. They come up with product ideas, make and sell them, advertise, and keep track of money. VE businesses can be about many things, like banking, technology, fashion, travel, or making apps.

Abraham Lincoln High School: Virtual Enterprise (K24B)

VE Program

The New York City branch of Virtual Enterprises International works with more than 35 schools in all five boroughs. These schools follow the VE program, which helps students learn how to run a business step by step:

  • 9th Grade: Writing & Presenting for Business

  • 10th Grade: Math Excel

  • 11th Grade: Entrepreneurship

  • 12th Grade: Virtual Enterprises

In this program, students learn useful skills to help them in college and future jobs. They learn how to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, write and speak clearly, do research, and understand money, marketing, and sales. Students also get to join fun events in New York City, around the country, and even in other countries, like the Business Plan Competition, the Global Enterprise Challenge, the Trade Show, and the Commercial Competition.
